How does the Expert Network create value?
The depth required in offensive security projects varies by target and technology. The Expert Network matches the right competence to the right scope while preserving Red in Pulse's standard for controlled work and delivery.
Experts are evaluated for technical area, field experience, reporting proficiency, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest. When a project need arises, the suitable profile is brought into the process through contract, scope, and quality gates.
A vetted, trusted community of specialists: the basis is a carefully curated, closed pool rather than an open application pool.
Curation and evaluation process: inclusion in the pool is applied only after specialty, experience, documentation discipline, and conflicts of interest have been clarified.
Quality gate and professional matching: when a project need arises, the suitable expert is matched based on controlled testing discipline and delivery standard.
Technical depth, impact articulation, and documentation proficiency: these three disciplines are sought together, and technical skill alone is not considered sufficient.
Evaluation and working flow
From sharing a profile to post-project evaluation, every step preserves the working alignment between the expert and Red in Pulse and the quality of the delivery provided to the client.
Sharing the specialist profile
Technical area, experience, and reporting samples are submitted through the form. A CV format is not required; a signal of fit is what we look for.
Initial fit and specialty assessment
The profile is assessed against the specialties we need. We also try to respond to applications that are not found to be a fit.
Technical depth, reporting, and boundary check
Through a technical interview, a review of a sample report, and an assessment of scope discipline, the candidate's ability to produce verified findings and report them clearly is examined.
Confidentiality, conflict of interest, and contractual basis
Conflicts of interest with current employers or clients are clarified. Data-protection, confidentiality, and contract terms are signed in writing.
Controlled matching upon a suitable project need
When a suitable project arises, a match is made by weighing specialty, availability, working conditions, and conflicts of interest together.
Post-project quality and delivery feedback
At the end of each project, feedback is provided on technical quality, reporting discipline, and delivery conformance. Sustainability within the pool depends on this feedback.
Expected working discipline
Every expert in the network adheres to written authorization, an approved scope, rules of engagement, confidentiality, and a shared delivery standard. This framework protects both the client's trust and the sustainability of the expert network.
Controlled testing
Written authorization, a defined scope, RoE, a test window, approval gates, human oversight, side-effect control, and an escalation line are taken as the basis.
Confidentiality
All information belonging to the client and the pool is protected by contract and is not shared with third parties.
Scope discipline
No action outside the authorization and scope is taken, not even under the justification of being "for research purposes."
Delivery standard
A verified technical finding is expected to be delivered clearly, with an executive summary, a technical report, a safe PoC, and a remediation priority.
Conflict-of-interest declaration
Any conflict with a current employer or client is declared in writing before entering each project.

It is declared in writing during the form and before entering each project. No match is made on projects where a conflict is identified, and the declaration is kept confidential.
No. The Expert Network is not a bug bounty program but a pool of specialists. It is also not a channel for unauthorized testing or independent client contact.
A confidentiality agreement is signed before a match, and a project contract after a match. The scope of the contract defines both the controlled testing discipline and the delivery standard.
