Observability
Recording every step of an AI-assisted workflow with logging, audit trail, telemetry and rollback criteria; making the work open to human oversight and traceable on an evidence basis. It is not the same as monitoring, and this distinction matters: monitoring asks 'is the system working', observability asks 'what happened, why, and can I undo it'. The first is a status light, the second a black-box recording. In AI-assisted offensive workflows these four components must be preserved together; if one is missing, the workflow runs with a blind spot. Logging carries what was done, the audit trail who did it with what authority, telemetry how the process behaved, and rollback how the result of a wrong step is reversed. Observability is the structure that turns automation from a leap of faith into an accountable process; it is the technical ground of the approval model and human-in-the-loop.
